From roaming green fairies to signature bites, La Grande Boucherie Miami’s anniversary was equal parts elegant and whimsical.

La Grande Boucherie Miami celebrated its first anniversary on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, with an evening that felt like stepping into a Parisian garden in the heart of South Beach. The restaurant’s lush outdoor courtyard was transformed into an elegant yet playful setting, where classic French sophistication met Miami vibe, exactly what South of Fifth had been waiting for.

Guests were welcomed with flowing champagne, carefully curated wines, Lillet Spritzes, and dramatic “Absinthe Fairy” cocktails cascading from fountains. Performers dressed as green fairies moved through the crowd, offering absinthe shots and sparking whimsical moments of surprise throughout the evening.

Though the Miami location just turned one, La Grande Boucherie traces its origins to New York City, where it launched in 2020 to reimagine the Parisian brasserie with a modern, theatrical approach. The brand later expanded to Chicago and Washington, D.C., earning acclaim for bold design, lively dining, and French-inspired cuisine. The Miami outpost continues that tradition, occupying a redesigned 1938 Art Deco building with lush gardens that blend historic charm with contemporary elegance.

The menu reflected the restaurant’s French roots while embracing local influences. Guests enjoyed spicy tuna cones with avocado crème, vegan eggplant tartes, and elevated croque monsieur, followed by chocolate-covered strawberries, orange madeleines with Chantilly cream, and classic Paris-Brest pastries. Each dish balanced refinement and creativity, a hallmark of La Grande Boucherie’s culinary identity.

Entertainment added playful energy to the evening. Dance performances and a strolling magician created interactive moments that kept guests engaged from start to finish, complementing the whimsical atmosphere of the garden soirée.

By combining French-inspired cuisine, theatrical design, and an inviting social setting, La Grande Boucherie Miami proved to be exactly what South of Fifth needed—an experience that blends sophistication, delight, and community in one destination.
