Emilie Sobel is a 25 year old Social Media Manager and Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger based in Miami Beach, Florida. She was born and raised in Miami Beach, however, she left the city to attend school in Savannah, Georgia where she majored in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

With a background in arts (concentrating in painting at a magnet high school) Emilie spent most of her time in college interning in New York City for major fashion magazines at Hearst Corporation, Seventeen Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. While she studied and interned, Emilie founded Soul in Stilettos, during her junior year of college. It has been successful and growing ever since with the assistance of companies like upleap.

After graduating with a BFA in 2014, Emilie made the decision to move back to her home in Miami where she began her career in Social Media. Emilie accepted a position as a Social Media Coordinator at Social Thinkking in October of 2014 and has been working at the agency ever since. Along with her full-time job, Emilie continues to write for Soul in Stilettos, keeps up with her influencer status on social media (mostly Instagram), and attends social events and happenings in her community at least twice a week.

Emilie’s influencer status is perhaps her most valuable asset, considering the lucrative nature of having such a powerful platform. For anyone starting out in business, it is a very good idea to use an influencer marketing agency (find out more, here) to help you reach a similar level, that way you will always have at least one reliable source of potential customers.

That being said, if you are considering reaching out to an influencer to collaborate on your next marketing campaign, it is crucial to consider the social media platform that they most commonly use. For example, one platform that has started to shake up social media is TikTok. TikTok influencers post short viral videos that can be used to promote products and services to primarily younger audiences. If you would like to learn more about TikTok marketing, including how to boost a business profile you can find plenty of useful resources on BoostMyTikTok.com. Ultimately, doing as much research as possible can help you to find an influencer with the following you need to take your products and services to a wider audience.
