Sizzling, stunning and simply scrumptious gowns with just the right amount of peek-a-boo, lace and barely there cutouts was the theme for the Atelier Pronovias 2014 Collection. The fashion show took place at the prestigious St. James Church on the posh upper east side of New York City.
Gown after gown was extremely detailed and modeled by Wilhelmina, One Management, Muse NYC, Q Management and Trump Models. Czech Republic born, Supermodel Petra Nemcova hosted the event without boyfriend Haitian Prime minister Laurent Lamothe by her side. Petra, has modeled for the likes of Victoria Secret, Harpers Bazaar, ELLE Magazine but she became international known as a survivor of the the devastating Tsunami of 2004. She hit the red carpet in true model style wearing up to their thigh high laced boots and a mini dress from the designers collection. Also in attendance was socialite Kelly Bensimon and Russian model Elena Kurnosva who has graced the runways for Armani, Betsey Johnson and Gucci.
The Pronovias Fashion Group opened over 80 stores in Spain and expanded into the European markets including France, Italy, UK and Germany and continued with their expansion of luxury bridal gowns at the their flagship 5th Ave store in New York City.
PRONOVIAS Atelier showed romantic, elaborate and subtly embellished gowns that glided down the aisles. Each piece was uniquely designed with sparkling crystals, glittering sequins that detailed the pleating ad draping. Amazing vintage-style headdress and birdcage hairpieces were the perfect accent to each of the 20 looks. AVEDA was responsible for the gorgeous hair and make-up and OPI took special care of the nails.
Guests and VIPs Gillian Miniter, Marcus Stewart, Diego Osorio and others were then transported to the after party at PRONOVIAS flagship store where the cocktails were plentiful and DJ Chelsea Leyland spanned.
