The award-winning luxurious hotel group, COMO Hotel & Resorts, opens up a new hotel in Miami Beach called Metropolitan.
Miami Beach, FL., which is known for its strip of bars, clubs and some of the finest hotels in Florida has a wonderful new addition to its line of excellence; the Metropolitan.
The Metropolitan, which is owned and operated by COMO Hotel & Resorts, is scheduled to open on Feb. 14, 2014 which is Valentine’s Day. Located in the heart of the Art Deco District on Collins Avenue, the hotel has an amazing view of the beach and the bays. In addition to the opening of the hotel, COMO is offering two extravagant romantic getaway packages for two, one of which tours the beautiful islands of the Turks and Caicos.
The “Miami Beach and Caribbean Chic” package that COMO is offering, couples could choose between the five, seven or ten night stay at the Metropolitan to start their days of relaxation off before leaving for Turk and Caicos. With prices starting from $5,273 for the five-night package (two nights at Metropolitan), the offer entails a four night stay at the Metropolitan on the 10-night itinerary, or two nights on the five and seven-night itinerary. Worries come to an end when guests choose between the Lakeview Suite and the Ocean View Suite that includes complimentary breakfast daily and several other luxurious accommodations.
Guests get to not only enjoy a 60 minute state of the art Shambhala massage in the Shambhala Urban Escape Spa but they then get to experience the spa’s rooftop hydrotherapy pool which comes complete with a juice bar and cabanas. After a day of pampering, guests can enjoy an exquisite dinner prepared by Executive Chef Jonathan Lane, at The Traymore Restaurant with reservations prepared, courtesy of the Metropolitan staff. To end the night on classy note, couples can choose a cocktail drink of their choice from Traymore’s gin bar.
The second part of this getaway includes a flight over the breathtaking Caribbean waters to the islands of Turks and Caicos, where guests will stay at the Parrot Cay which is also owned by COMO. The guests will be greeted with a bottle of champagne, enjoy the view from either the Ocean-Facing Bedroom, the COMO Suite or the One-Room Beach House. During the day, couples can enjoy an array of island activities and indulge in an appetizing dinner which is a part of the full board stay at the Parrot Cay.
The other package, “Just the two of us” is an alternative package for couples who wish to stay in South Florida for Valentine’s Day. The package, which starts at $659, includes an overnight stay at the Metropolitan, a rooftop massage in Shambhala Spa and dinner prepared by the Traymore Restaurant. The “his and her” menus consists of items that picked out by Chef Lane and categorized into different entrees. Some of the entrees include Jumbo Sea Scallops, Coffee Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Chilled Rock Lobster Ceviche and Roasted Colorado Lamb Racks.
Overall, the opening of the Metropolitan Hotel is very exciting for not only the residents of South Florida but the resident who live out of state looking to escape the cold temperatures of the winter. Hopefully these enticing offers catch the eyes of my couples looking to have the experience of a lifetime while enjoying the perk of Valentine’s Day with their significant other!
