South Beach Welcomes Fuor d’Acqua Restaurant

This past week L’Etage Magazine attended the grand opening of Fuor d’Acqua, a new Italian eatery imported directly from Florence. Nestled in the heart of SouthBeach, this new dining destination is a project by restaurateur Antonio Martucci who wanted to fuse seafood with traditional Italian cooking in a Tuscan setting.

Executive chef Dani Di Calimero came from the Florence location and created a delectable menu that includes dishes like Pan seared shrimp with a Balsamic and peanut reduction, Raw Beausoleil Oysters in a mignonette sauce, and Turbot in a citrus sauce with a lemon and lime zest.

Designed with a nautical /beach house theme, the 275 seat Fuor d’Acqua surrounds its guests with charming luxury. The main dining room features white shelves with decorations reminiscent of a soothing day at the beach and the garden area and outdoor patio is beautifully intimate.

The grand opening event was a glamorous scene with Miami’s elite. The rooms were filled with famous artists, real estate royalty, an abundance of beautiful well dressed people, and powerful figures. Not only did the evening turn out to be a success, the grand opening of Fuor d’Acqua set the tone for what is surely to become a favorite local dining and socializing spot in the city.

Being here inspires great conversation, treasured moments shared between families and friends, and romance; all the makings a dolce vita.
