A prominent sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival ’16, Acura will host the actors and producers from some of the most well-known films at the Acura Studio, which was created specifically for the festival. It is located at the corner of Main Street and Heber Avenue.
The Acura Studio provides its guests a pleasant escape from the cold weather to enjoy snacks and charge their phones.
In addition, the proceeds generated from an auctioned off 2017 Acura NSX supercar will be donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
At night, the studio will host private post-screening cast dinners for Viggo Mortensen’s Captain Fantastic with Kathryn Hahn; Other People, directed and written by Chris Kelly with Maude Apatow, Molly Shannon, and Jesse Plemons; Swiss Army Man written and directed by filmmaking team the Daniels starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Daniel Radcliffe, and Paul Dano; The Hollers with Margo Martindale, Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day Josh Groban and John Krasinski, who also directed the film; Danny Perez’s Anti-birth, with Chloë Sevigny and Natasha Lyonne; and Diego Luna’s Mr. Pig starring Danny Glover and Maya Rudolph.
For the first weekend of the festival, LA public radio station, KCRW, will host Acura Hours happy hour sessions. They have produced a custom playlist for the festival and will also showcase additional talent and DJs.
The eBay for Charity auction starts Thursday 1/21 at 5 PM MT . The Acura Studio is open to the public daily Friday 1/22–Sunday 1/31 from 11AM-5PM MT. Acura Hours is Saturday 1/23—Monday 1/25, 3-5 PM MT. Bids will be taken at http://www.ebay.com/acurasdff
