Resident’s of Continuum, South Beach’s premier luxury residential condominiums, along with invited guests were treated to an exclusive cocktail reception and Italian-themed dinner hosted by world-renowned chef Fabio Vaccarella on Saturday, February 16th. The evening spent under the stars served as a preview for the highly anticipated 18th annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
While Continuum residents enjoyed an invite-only cocktail reception, 38 invited guests of South Beach Wine & Food Festival founder and director, Lee Schrager, got to experience a night like no other, hosted by The Patio restaurant and its owners Michele Merlo and Tullia Gasparottto in celebration of the upcoming week-long festival. The Continuum served signature cocktails, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres to their invited residents, while Schrager’s esteemed guests enjoyed an assortment of Mediterranean-style canapés followed by an amazing four-course menu of Italian specialties curated by The Patio’s Executive Chef Fabio Vaccarella.
Managing Director of Continuum, Rishi Idnani said of the night, “Saturday’s highly successful event was a wonderful way to commemorate what we anticipate will be a long-term alliance with the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.” He added, “While our residents have always been avid food enthusiasts and highly engaged attendees of the festival’s week-long series of events over the years, this was an excellent way to introduce the owners to its founder and one of today’s most influential culinary leaders for the very first time.
