Larry Corban was born in New York City, but raised in Middletown, New Jersey by parents who worked as engineers. They were surprised that their only son had a profound interest in playing guitar at the age of 10. He enjoyed the old rock and roll legends such as AC/DC, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin. Larry began to take guitar lessons Omaha soon after his parents recognized his interest. Larry’s talent certainly did not go unnoticed.

He was accepted into The Berklee College of Music for a five-week program at the age of 15. It was during this time that he was first exposed to jazz. This program had a major impact on his music career. Larry is most influenced by jazz icons such as Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, JoePass, and Tal Farlow.

Music is my life, and I strive to be the best musician I can be. I am blessed to have worked with a lot of people who inspire me to stay on course.
