Guests can take advantage of the two flights each day offered by American Airlines (www.aa.com) from Miami International Airport (MIA) departing at 12:45pm and 6:35pm, arriving at Providenciales International Airport on the Turks and Caicos Islands. American offers the daily flight schedule seven days a week with a flight time in to Providenciales of only 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The Turks and Caicos Islands currently have two full service international airports, on Providenciales and Grand Turk, as well as a limited entry international airport on South Caicos. All other islands have domestic airports, with the exception of East and West Caicos, which are uninhabited. Visitors must hold a valid passport. Proof of onward transportation is also required on entry. International visitors to Parrot Cay usually enter the islands via Providenciales to take advantage of an easy 50-minute car and boat transfer to Parrot Cay.
Guests of Parrot Cay are taken directly from Providenciales airport to Parrot Cay by boat. This involves a short 15-minute drive from Providenciales airport to Leeward Marina followed by a relaxing 35-minute boat transfer to the island. A transfer fee of US$100 per room per stay applies. The fee covers land and boat return transfers. Those arriving by private aircraft need to arrange a private boat transfer through the resort; the transfer is chargeable at a fee confirmed at the time of booking.
