Red Cup Nation is known to throw some entertaining and well organized college parties, as well as a successful background in music. Behind their success, comes a background of how Red Cup Nations was founded. Red Cup Nation was organized by two intelligent individuals that came together and instantly connected. Matt Hilfiger and Perry Rothstein had a vision for their future, so after they had graduated they took their passion and were able to make it happen.
“At first it was a little hard, because we had this plan in our head and we were trying to figure out how to make it happen.” The plan for the both of them was to create a future brand without it being temporary, so they invested in a website which drew over 20,000 hits in a two month span and purchased a truck to promote their work. Some people thought it was a phase, but Red Cup Nations saw it as an opportunity.
The truck that they had bought had been a huge success to their successful career. They had tricked it out and brought a lot of entertaining gadgets to attract larger crowds. This was simply appealing to their fans and in a three year span Red Cup Nation is known world wide and has been featured in Forbes Magazine.
“We were honored to be featured with Forbes; it was an amazing accomplishment that they wanted us in their magazine. Honestly, for the both of us that was one of biggest accomplishments.
“Some people think that because we do a lot of hosting or parties that we are always having fun, but we are constantly working nonstop. Hard work goes a long way and we have to find different ways to keep our fans happy, as well as different promotional ways to attract more people.”
With their success building and their fan base growing at a rapid speed, Red Cup Nation also encourages people to do what they love. “Life is full of risks, but you have to grind each and everyday to make it happen. Yes, you might get rejected the first time, second time, or third time, but keep trying! Keep striving for more! Never give up or give in! It will be hard, but in the end when you are finally doing something that you love it will be worth it all”
Red Cup Nation have some upcoming projects that they are working on such as an EP album called Ride The Wave in the late summer and start their biggest tour yet in late summer/early fall. They also have a radio show in L.A, which is pretty huge. “We are blessed beyond measure with both of these incredible projects. On Monday they released their recent project called Trap Pack, which is an album that consists of different songs that are out now. We cut and scratched it to make it into our own masterpiece.”
Red Cup Nations offers the best advice for people who are upcoming in whatever field that they are going in; you have to stay humble and not let certain things get to you. Stay positive and never let any negativity get you sidetracked off your track. Be patient and enjoy the process of being dedicated to your work or craft.”
Red Cup Nation will be announcing their new Red Cup Nation Radio co-host on Saturday May, 23, 2015 on their show.
