The say all things have to evolve and grow; female boxer Seniesa Estrada knows that time is where growth will evolve within victory or defeat. As of right now Seniesa is 4-0 in her respective weight class and a lot of heads are turning because Seniesa is not your average “walk in the park” fighter. Seniesa has been boxing at an early age and has took her craft to another level. “Boxing is my life. I can not really explain it to you, but take something that you love and are passionate, about could you live without it? I just like getting in the ring and love the hardwork that goes within the boxing aspect.”
Seniesa has the ability to stick and move with her quick footwork, but the special factor that she has a lot of power when she throws either the right or left hook. Having power in both hands can easily make a defender become hesitant and that is when Seniese can control the fight. Seniesa has been very humble with her outstanding record and looks very determined to become one of the greatest female boxers in the world. “You cant become content on the accomplishments that you have accomplished. There is more work to be done. I mean the record is great, but I want to fight more fighters and become a champion. Just because I have not lost does not mean I can take any days off. Do you think any of the greats had a day to take off? They work endless hours and worked on their ideal of perfection, that is what I am attempting to do. You can not be successful if you just stop working on a craft that you are trying to improve.”
Seniesa has a lot of motivation that keeps her grounded and driven to want more, she is boxing for her family, her dream, and a lot of criticism that comes with being a female boxer. “As a female boxer we do not get the attention that we deserve and it is difficult for us at times, but I have a feeling that one day we all could be equal. I mean it is a sport, it does not matter if a male or female is in the spotlight . We are all here to give the fans what they want to see and that’s what I am bringing to the fans everytime I step into the ring. I am not fighting for myself, but my support system and my fans who gives me all the support that I need to go out their and perform.”
