Calling all music lovers! HUKA Entertainment just announced the final artist schedule and availability of single day tickets for Rock the Ocean’s inaugural Tortuga Music Festival taking place April 13-14 in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, FL.
Headlining the star studded lineup of talent for Saturday will be multi-platinum country music superstar Kenny Chesney. Sunday’s roster of performers includes the reigning CMA Album of the Year winner Eric Church.
Also added to the growing list of performers are: Juno Award winning singer-songwriter Old Man Luedecke, who won a 2009 Juno for traditional folk album of the year and Atlantic Records Nashville recording artist Brett Eldredge who is currently enjoying his third charting single “Don’t Ya”. A cancelation update: Gary Allan will not be performing at the festival due to a scheduling conflict.
This gathering of music superstars isn’t just about the music. The two day festival was created to bring awareness to ocean conservation and the organizations that are taking the lead on the issues currently affecting the ocean’s delicate ecosystem. The Rock the Ocean Foundation, The Guy Harvey Foundation, and Landshark Lager’s partnership with Ocean Conservancy, all aim to educate and increase public awareness, support scientific research, and create programs designed to preserve and restore ocean life.
The city of Ft. Lauderdale is making sure to make this musical celebration a smooth experience for all ticket holders. There will be plenty of parking available in the area including local garages where a fleet of shuttles, riverboats and water taxis will be standing by to take guests to their beachfront festival destination. Shuttle bus passes are available online for $15 roundtrip for two days or $10 for a single-day roundtrip pass. They will also be available the day of the event with cash only. The shuttle stop address is 300 S.W. 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Single day tickets are available as of April 5 for $99.00 each day.
