Philadelphia Eagles’ Qb Tim Tebow has had an equivalent nine live stature when it comes to being a NFL QB; On Sunday Fans got to see what Tebow improved on as far as staying on the team as an Eagle. When Tebow had took the field for his first snap as an Eagles’ QB, he had gotten a raucous applause and fans started to chant “Tebow”. On his first series, Tebow passes were a little off target or seemed a little rushed, but after a few series, Tebow started to go to work on the Colt’s defense, which could not stop Tewbow from throwing slants to his receivers or scoring on a ten yard scamper from the red zone.
On the night, he finished 6-of-12 for 69 yards. He added 15 yards on the ground, including a seven-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. “It was fun,” Tebow said after the Eagles’ 36-10 win. “Playing ball. I loved it. You want to be focused on footwork, reads, communication with everybody but also enjoy the moment. You won’t always have it.”“I did some things well,” Tebow said. “I think there’s some things that we want to work on. For me, it’s going back, watching film, looking at everything, trying to make corrections and improve one day at a time.”
Tebow is actually on the verge of making the team; he is sitting on the fourth QB slot, but is making progress with his throwing motion and keeping his eyes down the field. There have been a little criticism when some critics feels like Tebow is just an average player and he will never live it yo being a great QB in the NFl. Eagles’ coach Chip Kelly is very optimistic about Tim and had these words to say about him; “Tim is not a gadget guy,” Kelly said. “I think Tim is a quarterback, and I think he’s proven that so far when he’s been out here. I think when Tim gets in there, you’ll see him run the ball a little bit more .”
