The night began at a Max’s Kansas City-inspired pop-up bar where specialty Bombay Sapphire drinks were served during cocktail hour. Attendees got to enjoy some of the artwork from the exhibition (that ran from 2/15-2/17) as well as craft cocktails inspired by the artists who frequented Max’s in the 60’s and 70’s.

Following cocktail hour was a romantic dinner that included the likes of Rita Ora, Asia Chow, Catherine Martin, Y’lan Noel, Lucila Sola, Scott Bloom, Dorian Grinspan, and DiCaprio’s Titanic co-star Billy Zane. The night concluded with moving speeches from host Baz Luhrmann and artist Jonathan Yeo about what inspires creativity, as well as the impact the artworld has on film and how the two worlds collide at Frieze LA.
