One of Broward County’s oldest waterfront restaurant on the Intercoastal, Shooters, unveiled a new space on Friday for hosting private and corporate events.

Located at 3033 Northeast 32nd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, the 35-year-old eatery gives spectacular views of the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s one of few restaurants that has a 340 feet of dockage which means you can arrive to it by boat (or car) in Fort Lauderdale.

Owned by the The Grateful Palate, a typical dinner starts at $20 and up while lunch averages in at $12.

The luxury property features three bars located indoor and outdoor (the Tiki Bar) that are usually packed Saturday and Sunday for brunch, a chic waterside lounge, the Oasis, that’s available for both lunch or dinner, and a contemporary dining room that includes views of the waterway.

The invite-only unveiling included Broward County locals.

Alain Danier, senior director of Weatherby Healthcare and a first-time guest of Shooters Waterfront says, “It’s a fantastic venue that fits for any type of event such as a party or corporate shindig.

Keith Willard, CEO of Keith Willard Events, who regularly dines at the establishment says Shooters appeal lies in its location.

“It deserves a second look. The space–it’s fresh, new, and interesting,” Willard says. “ It fills the need for a high-end, luxe venue that overlooks water.”

He also enjoys the staff, saying “the water plays second fiddle to the incredible service. They’re always friendly; Shooters just has a great vibe.”

If you’re craving seafood, the raw bar serves fresh oysters, sushi rolls, shrimp cocktail, smoked fish dip, ahi tuna poke, crab cakes, crab legs, and calamari.

While dinner features delicious dishes such as seared shrimp, grilled ribeye steak, meaty pork ribs, swordfish, and filet mignon.

Shooters has a wine list that’ll satisfy any lush–complete with rose, riesling, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, champagne, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and reds.

The restaurant seats 300 people including pets. A dog menu serves bahia beef, chicken, and turkey.

When it comes to this city, Fort Lauderdale is Miami’s better looking and easier to talk to brother,” Willard. “Here you can kick up your shoes and hangout and allow yourself to be your true self.”
