From Steve Madden’s swimwear debut to poolside wellness experiences, the gathering brought together many of the week’s familiar faces.

Every Miami Swim Week has a moment before the schedules take over.

On May 28, that moment belonged to Hotel Greystone, where CLD PR gathered a cross-section of the industry’s familiar faces for an afternoon by the pool. Editors, influencers, television personalities, designers, and brand founders occupied neighboring cabanas, exchanging introductions, comparing schedules, and making plans for the days ahead. For a brief stretch of time, the pace felt unusually relaxed.

That would not last.

Within hours, Miami Beach would be overtaken by runway shows, dinners, parties, and an endless cycle of arrivals and departures. For now, however, the focus remained on conversation and discovery.

Among the strongest draws was Steve Madden’s first foray into swimwear, unveiled poolside alongside the brand’s footwear and resort offerings. Nearby, Miyana Afgy presented a collection designed with warm-weather escapes in mind, while Luxe Du Jour attracted steady interest with its selection of luxury accessories and a Hermès giveaway that became one of the afternoon’s most discussed features.

Beauty brands including COLAB, TiZO, Foreo, Candier, Sun Rituals, and PackIt maintained a constant stream of visitors throughout the day. A few cabanas away, guests sampled treatments from Niagen IV while learning more about Tru Niagen’s wellness offerings. The combination felt particularly suited to Swim Week, where beauty, fashion, and wellbeing increasingly occupy the same space.

Cocktails from Possmei, LEVL, and Total Wine & More circulated throughout the afternoon as floral installations by J’Adore Les Fleurs brought color and texture to nearly every corner of the venue.

Among those in attendance were Ally Lewber, Nikki Roumel, Mia Calabrese, Leomie Anderson, Kiki Barth, Lexy Panterra, Zuri Tibby, Audrey Eckert, Kelly Hughes, Hollie Ford, Talitha Balinska, Gracyn Blackmore, Coco Watson, Charlie Georgio, Vanna Einerson, Jimmy Presnell, Yamen Sanders, Hashim Moore, and Daniela Rivera-Ortiz.

By sunset, the crowd had thinned. Guests departed for the next event on the calendar, leaving behind a venue that only hours earlier had served as one of the week’s busiest meeting points. The runways would soon command everyone’s attention, but for an afternoon, much of Miami Swim Week could be found here.
