Louis Vuitton Unveils Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk for the Final

French luxury house deepens its role in football’s biggest tournament with a ceremonial trophy presentation and an exclusive collector’s collection inspired by the iconic FIFA World Cup Trophy Trunk.

Louis Vuitton has been appointed Official Supplier and Official Branded Licensee of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, continuing a partnership that has become synonymous with football’s most celebrated prize.

As part of the appointment, the French luxury house has created the bespoke Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk, which will transport and present the FIFA World Cup Trophy during the tournament’s final. The trunk will make its on-pitch appearance as part of the official music, entertainment and ceremonies programme, carried by a Louis Vuitton ambassador alongside a FIFA Legend, continuing a tradition established in 2010.

Handcrafted by Louis Vuitton’s artisans at the Maison’s historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine, near Paris, the trunk is wrapped in the brand’s signature Monogram canvas. A hand-painted gold “V” adorns the front, symbolising both victory and Vuitton, while reflecting the golden tones of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. Traditional Louis Vuitton details, including leather lozine trim, gold-plated brass corner protectors, locks and clasps inspired by designs dating back to the 1860s, complete the exterior. Inside, the trunk is lined in light beige leather and features a Louis Vuitton x FIFA partnership logo.

“Louis Vuitton brings a unique blend of heritage, craftsmanship and prestige to the FIFA World Cup,” said Romy Gai, FIFA Chief Business Officer.

“The Official Trophy is the most coveted prize in world football and it is only fitting that it is carried in a Louis Vuitton trunk. The moment it is brought onto the pitch ahead of the final match will once again be a highlight, connecting tradition with the pinnacle of modern football.”

Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to excellence.

“For over a decade, Louis Vuitton and FIFA have shared an unwavering commitment to excellence, bound by a shared belief in sport’s power to inspire and bring people together,” he said.

“We are thrilled to continue this partnership for the FIFA World Cup 2026. At its heart stands the world’s most coveted trophy—a symbol of dedication, collective ambition and the ultimate celebration of victory. For this new edition, the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk continues this legacy, accompanying the iconic moment when football’s greatest achievement is celebrated and history is made.”

Louis Vuitton has designed official trophy trunks for every FIFA World Cup™ since South Africa 2010, with subsequent editions created for Brazil 2014, Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022, under the House’s enduring campaign, “Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton.”

Alongside the official trophy trunk, Louis Vuitton has also introduced an exclusive limited-edition collection inspired by the design. The collection features the Coffret 8 Montres, designed to hold eight watches; the Cotteville 16 Montres, with storage for up to sixteen watches; and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110, a classic travel trunk. Each piece is finished in the Maison’s iconic Monogram canvas with a hand-painted FIFA World Cup logo and the signature golden “V”, offering collectors a rare tribute to football’s greatest tournament.
