The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will conclude with a spectacular closing ceremony on Sunday, 19 July, at New York New Jersey Stadium, marking the final chapter of the largest tournament in the competition’s history. Beginning at 1:30 p.m. local time, the production will set the stage for the championship match with an international celebration of football, music and culture.
The pre-match program will feature performances by Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and IShowSpeed, alongside a special appearance by Tom Cruise. Award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson will perform the United States national anthem ahead of kick-off, adding another memorable moment before the world’s attention turns to the final on the pitch.
The ceremony reflects the remarkable journey of the expanded 48-team tournament, which has unfolded across 16 Host Cities in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Designed to honor the nations, supporters and communities that have shaped the competition, the production will celebrate the passion and unity that have defined this historic edition of the FIFA World Cup™.
Created in partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, the creative team behind some of the world’s most ambitious live productions, the ceremony will blend music, storytelling and visual spectacle while recognizing the tournament’s lasting impact on football’s global growth. FIFA has also confirmed that additional performers and special guests will be announced in the days leading up to the final.

Supporters attending the final are encouraged to arrive well in advance, as the ceremony begins 90 minutes before kick-off. Stadium gates will open at 11:00 a.m., giving fans access to exclusive activations, entertainment, rewards and a range of pre-match experiences before the tournament reaches its unforgettable conclusion.
