Miami’s Newest Cultural Landmark, Paradiso Theater Launches With UNHOLY – A Bold Immersive Residency

A State-of-the-Art Performance Venue Redefining Miami’s Artistic Landscape

Miami’s rise as an international hub for world-class art and entertainment reaches new heights with the grand opening of Paradiso Theater at 320 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139 on April 4, 2025. Situated in the historic Flamingo Theater space at the epicenter of South Beach—where Washington Avenue meets Lincoln Road—Paradiso is a cutting-edge venue designed to elevate live performance with state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and acrobatic systems. The launch of its first residency will mark this grand debut: UNHOLY.

Bold, entrancing, and irresistibly immersive, UNHOLY pushes the limits of performance art, fusing breathtaking acrobatics, boundary-defying storytelling, and a striking interplay of light, sound, and movement. This electrifying production thrusts audiences into a world where the sacred and the forbidden entwine.

Created by Circensia, a company co-founded by Charlie Maréchal—former Lead Innovation Designer at Cirque du Soleil, Nicolas Allard, a Gold Medalist in Swinging Trapeze from the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, and Silvia Dopazo, former headlining star of Cirque du Soleil’s Cirque at Sea, Axel & Bazzar, UNHOLY represents the next evolution of immersive entertainment. With headquarters in Miami and Montreal, Circensia is at the forefront of performance innovation, blending cutting-edge artistry with multidisciplinary storytelling.

“We are excited to bring an innovative concept never seen in Miami before, blending world-class performers and acrobats with unapologetic comedy. Inspired by the events of Paradise Lost by John Milton, the show is a journey through light and darkness, temptation and redemption told with humor and heart,” said the Circensia Team.

Spanning 10,000 square feet, Paradiso Theater is built to host world-class productions, featuring a cutting-edge sound system, immersive visual technology, and custom-designed acrobatic rigging. Designed to be a premier destination for theatrical innovation, Paradiso sets a new standard for nightlife and performance art in Miami Beach.

“Once a historic cinema, later a vibrant club, this iconic Lincoln Road venue has now undergone a full transformation, an ambitious remodel and investment to create a groundbreaking theatre. With towering LED arches, immersive screens, and a design that fuses monastic elegance with visionary technology, this space is more than a stage—it’s a portal through time and space, set to make its mark on Miami’s entertainment scene with an unforgettable grand opening,” said Owners Johan Pfeiffer and Gerald Bouhana.

Internationally acclaimed artists from Brazil, France, Venezuela, and the U.S.—many with Cirque du Soleil backgrounds—push the boundaries of contemporary performance art and comedy. At its core, UNHOLY features original aerial apparatuses, including a never-before-seen twisted ladder, weaving together breathtaking acrobatics, immersive storytelling, and live music in ways Miami audiences have never encountered. This revolutionary fusion of high-level artistry sets UNHOLY apart as a genre-defining performance that reimagines the limits of live entertainment.
