The 9AMBanger is a dance party with a variety of DJ’s, a surprise musical performance and yes the party starts at 9AM!
This summer, they’re bringing the magic of the 9AMBanger to the Rooftop at Pier 17 for their Rise & Rose event which will be held on Saturday, July 20th. The event is growing at a rapid pace and this will be one of their larger events as they’re anticipating a turnout of around 3,500+ people.
Previous performers include Sean Paul, French Montana, Mya, and Bobby Shmurda.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The event series started in 2015 in a Washington Heights apartment as a small ‘pre-game’ for NYC’s
annual Santa Con. Over the years, the pre-game expanded and it led to them renting out their first
venue. Since then, it has grown to be the 9AMBanger which has been hosted in venues such as the
Brooklyn Mirage and Melrose Ballroom. The New York natives have created such an innovative event for
their city and love to keep on with the theme of New York by partnering with NY brands such as Bodega
Truck.
The average attendance has increased to over 1.5K guests per event. The event has even expanded to
cities such as Orlando, Miami and they recently hosted their first ever West Coast event in San Diego.
A huge part of what has made the 9AMBanger so successful is the DJ’s and performers. It’s been
amazing to see how music can bring so many people together.
The event series consists of 6 NYC events yearly. This year, they’ve added a new event, R&B at 9AM.

1) Luck Of The Banger: Saturday, March 16th
a) Luck of the Banger is the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day party experience, which took place in
both New York and Orlando. In celebration of Women’s History Month, it once again
featured an all-women DJ lineup, along with a lively crowd of people all decked out in
green.
2) R&B At 9AM: Saturday, April 13th
a) RnB at 9AM is the newest vibe for R&B enthusiasts! The event kicked off bright and early
at Musica Club NYC on Saturday, April 13th. This first-time, exclusive, collab event with
TheRnB Party, wrapped attendees in luxury with a silk-themed dress code. It was the talk
of the town, selling out 1,300 spots in just a week! It was a morning of smooth tunes and
vibes. It was more than an event; it was a movement, celebrating the soul of R&B in
style.
3) EL Bangero: Saturday, May 4th
a) The 9AmBanger celebrated the start of spring with “El Bangero” – the floral-themed
event of the season! Guests immersed themselves in a stunning floral wonderland, and
showed out in creative and colorful floral-inspired outfits and props. The event was a
memorable experience filled with a special performance from the iconic reggaeton duo,
Alexis y Fido.
4) Rise and Rose: NYC– Saturday, July 20th
a) Get ready to tickle your taste buds and soothe your soul with the ultimate indulgence –
Rise & Rosé. This year they’re taking the show on the road and doing a Summer tour
across Atlanta, NYC, Miami, Houston, and LA! Last year’s NYC event was held at Brooklyn
Mirage, with headlining sets from 4B & JSTJR, and R&B legend, Mýa. You will not want to
miss out on being part of this years!
5) Bangtoberfest: TBD
a) Bangtoberfest transports guests to Octoberfest in an iconic venue with music that
promises to keep your feet moving. Put on your favorite fall outfit as we welcome the
season!
6) BangerWeen: TBD
a) BangerWeen is a staple event in New York City where attendees are able to deep dive
into their creativity and dress up in their most creative Halloween outfits. Previous
BangerWeens have featured performances from J.I. the Prince of New York and Bobby
Shmurda, and they’re planning to go even bigger this year!
7) Banger B4 Xmas: TBD
a) Their marquee Winter event, Banger B4 Xmas isn’t your typical Christmas party; it’s an
interactive musical gathering that unites people through the power of music, which
cultivates a sense of community. In 2022 they held the event at Avant Gardner in
Brooklyn, NY, where 2,000+ attendees decked out in Christmas inspired outfits flooded
the venue, and enjoyed a special guest performance from French Montana. The event
was featured on the homepage of the New York Times) and made the cover of the
Metro section of the Christmas Day Sunday Times!
