And there was no better way to illustrate the harmonizing concept than through the art of weaving. A couple days and a few phone calls later, TAMBONITA was born. As it turns out, it wasn’t too difficult to find artisans looking to weave with Tamara. After all, the weaving happens in Venice, California.

A special thing about these bags is that they can be Upcycled, which means when sent back to our HQ, they can be re-woven in a fresh new color or trim. Your bag can evolve with you, your style and the seasonal trends. This concept keeps jobs in America and less waste in our landfills. That makes all our TAMBONITAs trans-generational.

We like to think of it as weaving with a purpose; “To encourage unity and harmony in humanity” a lofty goal, but our hearts and hands are ready to go.
