Martha Stewart hopes that appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues inspires people “to try new things, no matter what stage of life you’re in.” At 81, Stewart is the oldest model to appear on the cover of the annual swimsuit issue, surpassing Maye Musk (Elon Musk’s mother) who posed for the special issue in 2022 at 74. 

Take a peek at how good Stewart looks, said L’Etage editor Sabrina Boasman who attended the red carpet launch party at the The Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Sabrina hopes she will look that good (and have that much energy) at 81.

Martha was chosen because of her successful business career. “Never in her life has she let her circumstances dictate her outcome,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day says of Stewart. “She’s changed with the times—always one step ahead, it seems—to build a wide-reaching business empire.” 

The Sports Illustrated models also include transgender artist Kim Petras, a trailblazer in the music industry, Brooks Nader, Megan Fox, along with Padma Lakshmi and Olivia Dunne, among others​​. In recent years the magazine has made it a practice to feature models of diverse sizes, races and ages.
