Grand Prize includes tickets to Goya Foods Grand Tasting Village at SOBEWFF® and $500

Festival Flea Market MallIf cooking has always been a secret passion of yours or simply an entertaining hobby then, Festival Flea Market Mall cooking contest is the Place to be on February 20th. Not only does theFestival Foodie Feud offer amazing prizes to South Florida home cooks, such as the grand prize including two tickets to the Grand Tasting Village featuring MasterCard Grand Tasting Tents & KitchenAid® Culinary Demonstrations at the South Beach Wine Food Festival® on February 28 and $500 in cash, but the contest will be hosted as well judged and mentored by MasterChef Season 6 runner-up Derrick Peltz  with Comedian and Festival Flea Market Mall spokesperson Lisa Corrao will MC the event.

This exclusive event will occur from 12-2 p.m. where the contestants will be preparing a three-course meal, consisting of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Yet each round is a true challenge due to having to use an assortment of secret ingredients in each course and the risk of being eliminated as well.

All participating contestants will be rewarded with a branded apron and cutting board to celebrate the their participation. Yet those who make it to the final rounds will be given a cash prize: $250 to the runner-up, $100 to the third place contestant and $50 to the contestant who takes fourth place.

Not only is this a great opportunity for the contestants but for the public as well; the spectators will be able meet and take pictures with Peltz throughout the competition and have the chance to win a giveaway of a pair of tickets to the Goya Foods Grand Tasting Village at the SOBEWFF®.

All seeking to participate must submit a video or photo with their favorite home cooked dish and explain why they should be chosen to compete.
