The Siemens group, renowned developer of the Polo Club, Boca Raton, is now in the process of building Akoya Boca West, a new $160 million luxury condominium within the gates of Boca West Country Club; the number one private residential country club in the nation.  Slated to open in early 2017, Akoya is set to be a sanctuary of modern architecture. The project was designed by GarciaStromberg, famed architects of One Thousand Ocean with award-winning Interiors by Steven G.

When completed, Akoya will have 140 units with floor plans ranging from 1,850 to 3,500 square feet.

Residents will enjoy more than 300,000 square feet of world-class facilities at Boca West, including 31 Har-Tru tennis courts; six distinguished restaurants; an expansive aquatic and fitness center; a world-class 38,000-square-foot European-inspired spa; and four championship golf courses.

Prices range from the $800,000’s to more than $2 million. Akoya has experienced $17 million in sales thus far for the 88-unit Phase One, including eight of the total 14 penthouses selling in the first week.

“We are excited to see that Akoya Residences are so attractive to our buyer. Selling 14 units in the first week is a clear indicator that we have created something that they find truly desirable,” says Richard Siemens, president and CEO of Siemens Group.

The Siemens Group announced earlier this year that they completed the land acquisition from Boca West Country Club for $13.5 million making it the first new luxury residential development in more than two decades at Boca West Country Club.

“To be able to purchase such a prime piece of property in a country club as nationally renowned as Boca West is a rare, one-of-a-kind opportunity,” said Mr. Siemens. “With land already scarce in Boca Raton, Akoya is truly a pearl within Boca West; this prime piece of property overlooks four fairways of golf amidst 300,000 square feet of world-class amenities. This is a unique real-estate opportunity that likely will never repeat itself.”
