This past Tuesday the Sephardic Community Center came together with our high-end fashion stylists to organize an over-the-top fashion event at Jennifer and Isaac Sitt’s gorgeous beachfront home. Women of all ages and sizes joined fashion forces as they walked the catwalk in chic upcoming fall and winter trends. The ensembles included everything from extravagant furs to designer ball gowns to even cut-up jeans and body suits. The event featured trending runway fashion by cutting edge stylists and designer boutiques, mini makeup tutorials and so much more!

This was a fundraiser for Sephardic Community Center but also so much more! The Center is infamous for bringing community members altogether, and it was also the perfect showcase for the talents of the amazing fashion stylists and boutique owners of our community. Attendees were served a fresh, healthy lunch as they sipped on juice press and Black Diamond coffee, all while enjoying the couture fashion show. The eclectic and luxurious 40-look runway fashion show was a total hit, hosting close to two thousand people for an incredibly exciting fashion event, as well as spreading the movement of charity and giving back to our community.

Fashion was by PS Department, Audacious Outerwear, Pink Label, Lester’s, Margit David, Still Here, Style & Grace, Shelly’s Down Under and NYC Sample Sales. Featured jewelry was by Designs by Millo, and mini makeup tutorials were provided by Surratt Cosmetics.

SCC has always been at the forefront of community gatherings, raising awareness and inspiring creativity. They bring out the best in our community members and always encourage unity and growth, whether it is in fashion, the kitchen, the fitness world or in a simple good book we can all get together to review. There is no end to the different worlds they open up to us, and we are eternally grateful for their hard work and diligence. We are always looking forward to new and unusual upcoming events and fun. Until then, SCC will continue to stand as the “glue” that binds the community together. On that note keep in mind that sponsorships to the SCC are amazing gifts to give to those we love. Sponsorships range from $15 for a single exercise class to $1000 for a one-year family membership. Consider how much joy you can bring someone by offering them a swim in the Center’s beautiful indoor pool, or a calorie-burning workout in the Fitness Center. They can even get a relaxing massage from a certified professional, or take advantage of the many other program offerings the Center proudly brings to our community.
