An Evening of Terroir and Taste, Where Vineyards and the Chef’s Table Harmonise
CARBONE VINO, the bastion of Italian culinary excellence in Coconut Grove, will unveil an extraordinary evening on Wednesday, April 15, as it partners with Château La Nerthe, one of the most venerable estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France’s Southern Rhône Valley. This exclusive tasting and four-course prix-fixe dinner invites guests to journey through the region’s storied vineyards, where history, terroir, and gastronomy entwine in perfect harmony.
The soirée will commence at 6:30 PM with a Champagne reception, accompanied by delicate Mozzarella en Carozza canapés, a gentle prelude to the flavours ahead. Guests will then be guided through a curated tasting of Château La Nerthe’s illustrious portfolio, including the 2022 Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc and the 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge, each vintage thoughtfully paired with CARBONE VINO’s signature dishes to elevate both wine and cuisine.

The culinary odyssey unfolds with an opening duet of Radicchio & Gorgonzola and Baby Eggplant Scapece, followed by the delicate warmth of Pumpkin Agnolotti and the comforting richness of Mario’s Meatballs. The penultimate course features Pork Chop & Peppers and Ribeye Tagliata, paired with Potatoes Louie and Garlic Broccolini, combining bold flavours with refined technique. The evening concludes with a cheese course and a surprise from Château La Nerthe, a final flourish that echoes the estate’s centuries-old distinction.
Priced at $175 per person, this exclusive experience at 2911 Grand Avenue, Coconut Grove, FL 33133, offers more than a meal; it is a sensory voyage, a communion of palate, history, and terroir, where each sip and bite tells a story centuries in the making.
