Slam dunk event attendees included sports stars, comedians, and Real Housewives of Miami stars

Miami, FL – Miami celebrities turned out in force for the first-ever Wooshi World Celebrity Basketball Classic on Wednesday, May 3rd at the FLA Live Arena. Celebrities including Larsa Pippen and the rest of the Real Housewives of Miami cast, joined forces with athletes Marcus Jordan and Tyreek Hill to create an unforgettable night.

The Wooshi World Celebrity Basketball Classic featured a team of celebrities playing against a team of real basketball players. While the celebrity team featured Pippen, Alexia Echevarria, Kiki Barth and the rest of RHOM, the team of real basketball stars included Davon Reed of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards’ Monte Morris.

The celebrity basketball game may have brought out celebrities, but the night belonged to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. All proceeds from the Wooshi World Celebrity Basketball Classic went to the children’s charity. Although there was plenty of competition on the hardwood, Team Jordan, led by Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, won the game.

Celebrity Sports Entertainment organized the star-studded event. It was the first time Celebrity Sports Entertainment brought aspects of the Metaverse into their charitable initiatives, and Wooshi World had everyone in the arena smiling ear to ear the entire night.

The Celebrity Basketball Classic was a slam dunk with spectators, as they saw some of the hottest celebrities in Magic City on the court rather than courtside. One of the individuals behind Wooshi, Johnny G, was excited about the response to the event.

“Wooshi is a digital influencer,” Johnny G said. “Miami needed Wooshi to bring out some positive energy, and last night we launched him. Wow, was it on fire last night.” Will Wooshi be back for next year’s celebrity basketball game? This year’s event was such a hit, the cute cuddly creature could make an appearance again.
