The namesake of owner, Simona Radulescu, the luxury retail spot has quickly become a staple in Miami Design District’s home decor scene. The European institution acts as a conduit for merchandise from France, Portugal and England carrying exclusive designs for the client who enjoys the finer things in life.

What Is Primavera Home Collection?

The showroom turned its retail space into an art exhibit to launch the Primavera Home Collection. Upon entering Simona’s, attendees were greeted by an 8 by 5 feet tall ornate birdcage decorated with the line’s 50-plus products.

Attendees mingled amongst each other along with Sacha Walckhoff, Creative Director of the House of Christian Lacroix and Nicolas Topiol, CEO of the House of Christian Lacroix and owner and namesake of Simona’s, Simona Radulescu.

Primavera Home Collection celebrates the House of Christian Lacroix and Vista Alegre 1824 mutual passion for porcelain and European-inspired design that represents the beauty of spring.

Prior to the unveiling, guests were treated to a VIP reception that included tasty hors d’ouerves such as filet mignon on crostini, watermelon topped with brie and a balsamic reduction, chicken sewers, and summer rolls along with libations courtesy of Thierry Isambert Catering. Thierry Isambert Catering’s past clients include Aston Martin and The Bass Museum.

Each piece in the collection featured gold and platinum filaments as well as hand-painted florals and coloring.

The collection has a tropical theme featuring colorful birds and feathers, lush vegetation and fireflies.

During the event, an artist from the House of Christian Lacroix painted porcelain menagerie while guests listened to live-jazz by saxophonist Ruben Gonzalez.
