De Niro, Spielberg, Broderick, Scorsese, and Nas Headline a Star-Studded Day at Tribeca Festival

The Beacon Theatre commanded attention with the 50th-anniversary screening of “Mean Streets,” a highlight of the De Niro Con programming. The celebration included an insightful Q&A session featuring Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese, moderated by Nas, which offered a deep dive into the film’s legacy and impact.

At the OKX Theater at BMCC TPAC, Steven Spielberg marked the 50th anniversary of his directorial debut with “The Sugarland Express.” The theater buzzed with anticipation as Spielberg shared anecdotes and reflections. Later, Judd Apatow and Matthew Broderick took the stage for an entertaining conversation. Apatow delighted the audience with a humorous story about De Niro’s red carpet antics, highlighting the actor’s charisma and approachability.

The Beacon Theatre also hosted the world premiere of “Satisfied,” featuring a mesmerizing performance by Renée Elise Goldsberry. She was joined by an impressive lineup of talent, including Sara Bareilles, Ariana DeBose, Billy Porter, and Leslie Odom Jr. The event was graced by the presence of Kelli O’Hara, Melissa Haizlip, Paula Pell, Janine Brito, Joe Tippett, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Chris Bolan, and many other notable figures, making it a truly star-studded affair.
