On September 20, 2023, a burst of elegance and excitement permeated the Miami skyline. Aventura Mall became the epicenter of high fashion with the unveiling of “ALTAR by Gustavo Cadile,” the latest masterpiece by renowned Argentinian designer Gustavo Cadile. This event marked the inauguration of Aventura Mall’s premier bridal salon and the couturier’s first U.S. Flagship, a pivotal addition to its luxury portfolio.
The spotlight was firmly on Cadile’s “Orchid Collection,” an opulent 50-piece range that artfully weaves ethereal bridal designs with lavish red-carpet creations. With Miami’s crème de la crème in attendance, the evening was poised for a fashion spectacle like no other.
The seated fashion presentation boasted an impressive guest list, including notable figures such as iconic Miami Developer and Aventura Mall Owner, Don Soffer, accompanied by his wife, Michele King Soffer. Joining them were Jackie Soffer, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Turnberry, along with Aventura Mayor Howard S. Weinberg. Charlene Parsons, the esteemed Fashion Director at Miami International University of Art & Design, added to the glamour. Not to be missed were the well-known Celebrity Stylist Elysze Held, Buenos Aires Socialite Marynés Breña, and prominent Miami society figures Angela Birdman, Mariann Marinberg, and Regina Tseikin, and many others.
Guests were treated to a delightful champagne reception at Ladurée as they mingled and waited in anticipation for the show to start. Débora Bello, the charismatic Argentine TV host, graced the runway in “ALTAR by Gustavo Cadile” corsetted see-through bridal gown adorned with embroidered floral motifs and featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves, capturing the audience’s attention. The ethereal atmosphere was complemented by the enchanting performance of electric violinist Tamara Sieviieva. The fashion presentation was expertly styled and produced by Pitu Di Marco, while attendees were delighted with swag bags thoughtfully provided by Läderach and Stephanie von Lapcevic.
The evening’s highlight was a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the upper level of the, “ALTAR by Gustavo Cadile” boutique. Mayor Howard S. Weinberg extended his heartfelt congratulations to Cadile, heralding a bright future for his ventures. Guests rounded off the evening with champagne and a gourmet coconut-passion fruit wedding cake by the renowned Charles L. Lelièvre.
