On December 6-8, newly established art publication, Re-Envision Magazine, debuted their first issue during a 3-day event hosted by Toast Vodka at the Fontainebleau last week during Art Basel, and it was an experience those who were there will be talking about for a long time. The event, which included artwork from local artists such as Adam Scott Roteand 3-time NBA Champion, Dwyane Wade in collaboration with famed artist Luis Valle, had an Alice in Wonderland in her 30’s theme with ‘red queen’ vs.‘white queen’ decor. The exhibition was also in support of the Wynwood Theatre& Arts, a non-profit organization committed to the development of local talent through opportunities and scholarships. The collaborative piece from Dwyane Wade and Luis Valle titled, The Art of Basketball, was valued at $30,000. The artwork was a collage of colors created by dribbling a basketball dipped in high-quality blue, red, yellow, and gold paint onto an actual 4 x 8 piece of hardwood from the 2011NBA All-Star game. Adam Scott Rote’s painting of actor, Steven Bauer was also on display at the event and the actor even showed up to sign the portrait himself.

Other featured artists who were in attendance include Carlos Mare, Bill Mack, Peter Max, Gary Welton, DonnaIsham, Marcus Suarez, Yella, David Banegas, Leon Alva, Guillermo Opuesto,Alejandra Estefania, Uncutt Art, Bankrupt, Art Laurea, Mojo, Courtney Einhorn,Luis Valle, G Ken Ken, Davide DePas, and the artist behind Mr. Toast. Some notable celebs also came out to commemorate the special night including Carlo Ponce, Lili Estefan, William Levy and  Amara La Negra (Performer and TV personality), Shay Johnson(TV personality), Melky Jean (Grammy-nominated R&B Singer-Songwriter), Yaniand Sandro Martelly (Haitian artists specializing in Caribbean Soul mixed with Haitian Kompa), and Steven Bauer (actor).  Check out : https://reenvisionmagazine.com/
