There have been so many outstanding and noticeable cuts throughout the league, but none are more confusing than what the Philadelphia Eagles’ organization are doing with their players. Forth String QB Tim Tebow was let go after he had the best game of his NFL career against the New York Jets, while Head coach Chip Kelly stated that “Tebow did not fit in the offense that he wants.” That was a tough break for Tebow, but after he was released and Mat Barkley was traded to the Arizona cardinals, Kelly than went on to get Jacksonville Jaguars QB Stephen Morris.

Stephen Morris 6-2, 218) threw for close to 7,900 yards during his four years at the University of Miami, including a team and ACC record-setting  566-yard performance against N.C. State in 2012. He completed 58 percent of his throws as a senior with 21 touchdowns to 12 interceptions for the 9-4 Hurricanes.  Chip says that Morris would be the right fit for what he is trying to do this year with the Eagles.

Wide receiver Rasheed Bailey were among the 22 players cut by the Eagles on Saturday as the team trimmed its roster down to 52 players. Bailey has been confused on why the organization had cut him; “They loved who I was, what I did, everything about me,” Bailey said, when asked what he was told by the Eagles. “That’s what’s confusing to me, but whatever decision they came up with, it’s not up to me. I’m not in the meeting rooms, I don’t know what goes on in there. I just know that they liked what I did.”
