Inside an invitation-only evening as Miami moves closer to hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Miami’s World Cup moment stepped out of planning mode on May 14 at DAER Dayclub inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, where the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee hosted its “ONE GAME ONE PASSION” celebration.
The guest mix reflected the city’s overlapping worlds — sports, entertainment, media, and local power circles — gathered in one space as Miami moves closer to its role as a 2026 host city.
One of the evening’s central moments came when Ronaldinho was presented with the Keys to Broward County by Commissioner Michael Udine, a recognition tied to his global influence on football and his cultural reach beyond the sport.

The Host Committee program included appearances by Rodney Barreto, Janelle Prieto, and CEO Alina T. Hudak, as well as Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood President Randy Morton.
Programming unfolded across arrivals, scheduled remarks, interviews, and live performance, with Colombian act Perro Negro closing out the evening.
Guests included Cuba Gooding Jr., Nadia Ferreira, Carlos Ponce, Karina Banda, Piso 21, Alejandra Jaramillo, Beta Mejía, Frederick Oldenburg, Daniela Ospina, and Gabriel Coronel.
The event also previewed the next phase of Miami’s World Cup calendar. On June 11, the city will host a free public watch party in Miami Beach for the tournament’s opening match.
The FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami will follow from June 13 to July 5 at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, offering free access to live match broadcasts, concerts, cultural programming, food experiences, sponsor activations, and entertainment throughout the tournament period.
Miami is now transitioning from standalone events to a continuous public program ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
