GENER8ION’s GOD HATES SPACE Comes to the Grand Palais for Art Basel Paris

Surkin and Romain Gavras bring film and sound together on a 12-meter, double-sided screen.

The Rotonde d’Antin joins the fair’s program for the first time as Art Basel Paris and Live Nation begin their first partnership. The presentation runs October 22–25, 2026.

The Paris presentation marks GENER8ION’s first showing of GOD HATES SPACE in France. Its near-future narrative draws on LOVE & TEARS, the duo’s album released June 12, 2026. “God Hates Space,” featuring 070 Shake, is one of the album’s opening chapters.

GENER8ION’s music video “STORM,” featuring Swedish rapper Yung Lean, has received more than 37 million YouTube views. The track has surpassed 60 million Spotify streams and reached the global Shazam Top 5, ranking No. 1 in the United States and Canada. GENER8ION and Yung Lean performed it at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
