Maison Ostrow: Miami’s Boldest New Kosher Destination is French, Fearless & Full of Surprise

The Inside Scoop with Chef Olivia Ostrow

Paris-born and Miami-beloved, Chef Olivia Ostrow is rewriting the rules of kosher dining yet again. After the success of her acclaimed Ostrow Brasserie, she now unveils her most ambitious project to date: Maison Ostrow in North Bay Village. With its eclectic design, elevated bar program, Chef’s Table, and an épicerie brimming with her signature creations, the restaurant is more than just a place to eat. It is a reflection of Olivia herself: unexpectedly kosher, unapologetically French, and designed to spark conversation.

Why North Bay Village?
“After two unforgettable years at Ostrow Brasserie, Maison Ostrow felt like a natural evolution. It’s bigger, bolder, and unapologetically me,” Olivia says. The waterfront neighborhood offered her the chance to create a true destination away from the crowded restaurant hubs. “I didn’t want to blend in; I wanted to stand out.”

A Culinary Philosophy: Kosher Without Compromise
At Maison Ostrow, kosher isn’t a limitation. It is the foundation for creativity. “For me, kosher is never a restriction. It’s a framework of respect that I elevate with French technique and Mediterranean sensuality. You’ll never feel like something is missing; instead, you’ll discover flavors you didn’t expect.”

Guests can expect indulgent dishes like the Paupiette, her signature creation, alongside Grow & Behold’s Butcher Butter Surprise Steak, Pistachio Lamb, Duck, and decadent chocolate mousse. Even the butter service is designed to be an experience.

Design as Drama
The restaurant’s interiors reflect Olivia’s world: art, fashion, horses, and a touch of madness. “People told me not to go too crazy… so I went crazier,” she laughs. With art deco meets art nouveau details, deep greens, gold accents, hand-troweled walls, and a wine cellar, the space is filled with her personal art collection layered salon-style with bold, unapologetic flair. Yes, even a wall of dogs in gilded frames.

More Than a Restaurant
Maison Ostrow offers experiences that extend beyond dining. The Chef’s Table gives guests an intimate view into Olivia’s process, while the Épicerie lets them bring home her breads, pastries, vegan butters, sauces, and to-go meals. Private dining rooms feel like stepping into Olivia’s own living room for a night of laughter, wine, and indulgence.

The Bigger Picture
Olivia sees Maison Ostrow as part of North Bay Village’s culinary transformation and as the seed for something much larger: Ostrow Cuisine. “This is more than a restaurant, it’s a lifestyle brand,” she says. “We’re talking France, Vegas, Dubai, Panama… the world is our kosher oyster.”

Maison Ostrow is a destination that challenges expectations and redefines kosher dining for Miami and beyond. French at its core, Mediterranean in spirit, and unapologetically indulgent, it is Olivia Ostrow’s boldest chapter yet. https://maisonostrow.com/ 1666 79th Street Causeway Suite 102, North Bay Village, FL 33141
