On the shoreline of Miami Beach, certain moments arrive with a sense of inevitability. The Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) returned on April 10–11, 2026 as one such occasion, less an event beginning than a continuation already in motion.
Now in its second year, and heralding a new chapter within the Americas circuit, the Miami Beach stage convened an international assembly of owners, breeders, handlers, and connoisseurs, each drawn by an enduring reverence for the Arabian horse. More than 100 horses entered the arena beneath the coastal light, contending for essential ranking points and a share of the $2.7 million prize fund, presented to a sold-out audience. Across two days, the proceedings unfolded with near-ceremonial exactitude. Each entry was assessed in accordance with type, head and neck, body, limbs, and movement, the field narrowing with a quiet precision towards a finale of exacting distinction.
The Saturday evening finale confirmed the Gold Championship titles as Lughan HVP, owned by Aria Partners LLC, Senior Stallions; Evett Magic, owned by Jeff Sloane (TAP), Senior Mares; TTorch, owned by Collins, Smith & Butler, Junior Colts; Rohara Aria Heiress, owned by Jeff Sloane (TAP), Junior Fillies; Royal Dante, owned by Royal Arabians, Yearling Colts; and Miss Pristine, owned by Paul Wood, Yearling Fillies.

“Miami Beach has once again proven to be an extraordinary stage for the Global Champions Arabians Tour,” observed Faleh Al Nasr, Chairman of the Global Champions Arabians Tour, reflecting upon a weekend defined by international presence and refined competition. “The energy, the international audience, and the level of competition we witnessed this weekend reflect exactly what GCAT stands for. To see this sport brought to life in such an iconic destination, alongside world-class hospitality and entertainment, is incredibly meaningful as we continue to grow our presence across the Americas.”
Entry into the grounds unfolded as a singular, uninterrupted tableau. Attendees arrived impeccably attired, drawn from both Miami’s established circles and international contingents flown in for the weekend’s staging, where sport and social distinction coalesced with understated ease. A live Latin ensemble lent rhythm to the threshold of arrival, where a few briefly joined dancers before proceeding inward. Nearby, cigar rollers worked with unhurried dexterity, the entire scene imbued with a sunlit, tropical languor evocative of a coastal enclave suspended between Havana’s nostalgia and Miami’s polished restraint.

Hospitality, under the stewardship of Major Food Group, provided a studied counterpoint to the arena’s intensity, with a broader selection of culinary offerings across the venue. At ZZ’s, a discreet sushi counter offered repose. Carbone presented its emblematic spicy rigatoni, served theatrically within a wheel of aged Parmesan, drawing a steady flow of guests, accompanied by shrimp fra diavolo. Sadelle’s completed the tableau with a more restrained, confectionery refinement.
The program extended beyond equestrian competition into evening pageantry. The opening ceremony welcomed surprise appearances by 50 Cent and Sean Paul, while the closing evening culminated in a headline performance by Jason Derulo, accompanied by aerial choreography and immersive production.
Among the assembled guests was a notably international cadre of figures, including Gianni Infantino, DJ Khaled, Bethenny Frankel, Larsa Pippen, Kiki Barth, Daymond John, Mario Carbone, Jonathan Vilma, Steven Meiner, and Romero Britto, alongside Stephanie and Masoud Shojaee, Terrence J, and Oliver Trevena, many of whom contributed to the presentation of awards to victorious yearlings over the course of the weekend.
The Miami Beach stage forms part of the 2026 GCAT Americas circuit, following Scottsdale and preceding Las Vegas, before culminating in the World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme in Paris. Supported by partners including Richard Mille, Doha Bank, and Alex Nichols Agency, the latter serving as Official Horse Logistics Partner, the Tour continues to extend its international reach whilst remaining anchored in its principles of excellence, presentation, and heritage.
What unfolded was not merely a competition, but rather a carefully orchestrated convergence of sport, society, and cultural display, each element held in a state of poised equilibrium.
