Mayami Offers a Not-to-Be-Missed Experience During Miami Spice Restaurant Months

One of Wynwood’s most vibrant  dining and nightlife venues, Myami, the ever-popular Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant, recently licked up its heels in true Miami style to celebrate Miami Spice Restaurant Months with a special rendition of its featured menu for invited guests and media. Simultaneously, the gathering showcased the 8,500-foot venue’s recent breathtaking redesign melding  elevated South American hacienda style with modern Magic City theatrical flair.

Miami Spice, which takes place during August and September each year, invites guests to indulge in the best of the Magic City’s cuisine at a host of venerable eateries with special prix fixed three-course menus created for the event at equally tempting prices.

This year, Myami’s Miami Spice menu treated guests to a mouth-watering taste of its nuanced bold Mexican and Asian flavors with dishes as pleasing to the eye as the palate. As a starter, guests could choose a King Salmon Carpaccio, with beautifully presented fresh raw salmon smothered in a citrusy

sauce and garnished with fresh herbs and salsa verde. Tapping into the Asian flavor were crispy Beef Gyoza dumplings filled with juicy red meat and black truffles. Tropical Ceviche was a luscious temptation, enlivened with tropical fruits coconut and exotic spices.

Generously sized main courses ensured guests did not leave hungry. A crispy Chengdu China- inspired chicken glazed in honey infused with a memorable medley of fresh herbs and spices was a winner—and

enough to share around the table. Beef lovers delighted in slow braised short ribs with turnip mache on a warm tortilla. A creamy pink vodka sauce with basil and pesto topped plump rigatoni was a tempting entrée as the final choice.

Who can say no to a sweet finale—especially when’ it’s part of the prix fixed indulgence? Desert choices included a dark, moist melt-in-your-mouth Valrhona Brownie featuring South American cacao fudge, a classic South American flan and Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, a refreshing custard-like desert topped with berry crumble.

Diners who wish to enhance their experience with a distinctive handmade cocktail have plenty to choose from. The Queens Cocktail is an indulgent lychee Margarita with both tequila and agave. The Matchatini combines Japanese green tea with vodka, white chocolate pineapple and more for s distinctive treat. The Mayami Mule combines vodka, peach liquor, lime juice and ginger flavorings into a tempting elixir.

The venue’s stunning setting and high-energy nightclub atmosphere as rank as highly as the cuisine as part of the Myami Miami Spice experience.  The redesign combines hand-troweled plaster walls, sculptural wood elements, artisanal tilework and an open-air courtyard that transitions seamlessly from golden hour into a late-night party scene.

Expect DJ performances  that brings the crowd out on the dance floor, fire dancers and theatrical bottle service continuing as part of the venue’s immersive dining and nightlife experience.
