Jamie Foxx, Dallas Austin, DJ Irie attend invitation-only fete to celebrate South Beach pioneer’s role in new Costa Hollywood project; featuring limited edition Art of Night exhibit by acclaimed photographer Seth Browarnik.
Amber Arbucci joined longtime friend and South Beach pioneer, Michael Capponi, as well as developer Moses Bensusan, in Miami Beach on Sat., Dec 28, 2013, to co-host the debut party for Costa Hollywood condo resort. The event, dubbed Hollywood Meets Hollywood, celebrated the addition of Capponi to the development team at Costa Hollywood and served as a formal introduction to SoBe’s fast-growing sister to the north, Hollywood Beach Village, an up-and-coming beachfront haven.
Bensusan announced earlier this month the addition of Michael Capponi, a Miami-based construction mogul and hospitality industry savant, to the development team. Capponi holds a distinguished record of creating highly coveted, in-demand hospitality ventures, real estate projects and destinations, and will play a key role in the branding, sales, marketing and development of strategic partnerships for Costa Hollywood. He will also help curate more than five restaurants, lounges and high-end retail encompassing the ground floor of the oceanfront development’s highly anticipated Hollywood Beach Village location.
Located at 777 North Ocean Drive, Hollywood Beach, Florida, Costa Hollywood Condo Resort at Hollywood Beach Village is a luxury resort and high-end retail-shopping district slated for completion Spring 2015. The property will feature 307 fully furnished turn-key “smart units,” including studios and one- and two- bedrooms ranging from 400-square feet to 1,500-square feet with terraces and views of the ocean and intracoastal; a rooftop infinity pool and romantic courtyard; entertainment lounge area and an on-site holistic spa and gym as well as boutiques and restaurants within arm’s reach.
Famous faces in attendance included Jamie Foxx, who arrived with his two daughters and was spotted in the DJ booth alongside pal DJ Irie. Foxx graciously took photos with excited fans. Other notables included singer/producer Dallas Austin, Zoë Kravitz, boxer Andre Berto, and reality TV personality Marysol Patton.
Select works from Art of Night, an exhibit by acclaimed nightlife photographer Seth Browarnik were on display and depicted the icons, legends and stars that have graced the sands of Miami Beach over he past 15 years. Browarnik was also on-hand for the evening, which doubled a preview for the future collaboration with Costa Hollywood, as select pieces from Browarnik’s impressive celebrity catalogue will be housed at the project upon its completion Spring 2015.
The event raised $10,000 on behalf of Haiti Empowerment Mission, a cause spearheaded by Capponi, and concluded with a check presentation by Bensusan.
