A tribute to F1’s relentless pursuit of speed and excellence
At Garage 26 in Miami, time stood still—or rather floated—as LaFerrari appeared weightless, suspended mid-air. A piston, repurposed as sculpture, seemed to defy gravity, while a V10 nosecone from Michael Schumacher’s 2000 championship car stared back like a relic from another universe. This rare preview of Ferrari Collectibles offered a unique window into the brand’s racing heritage and design philosophy.
After a successful presentation during Milan Design Week—where Ferrari first unveiled this exclusive selection of Collectibles with a permanent installation at the Ferrari Boutique—the collection made its U.S. debut in Miami on 16 May 2025, coinciding with Ferrari Racing Days. The unveiling introduced “Red Pieces,” a curated selection of authentic bodywork elements pulled directly from Ferrari’s single-seaters that raced on the world’s most prestigious Formula 1 circuits and helped build the legend of Scuderia Ferrari. From front wings to hoods, deflectors to side panels, each Red Piece symbolizes engineering excellence and sporting passion, capturing iconic moments such as the nose cone that secured Schumacher’s 2002 World Championship and the front wing that propelled Charles Leclerc to victories at the Belgian and Monza GPs in 2019.
The collection on display featured an impressive range of Ferrari’s automotive milestones, including the Daytona SP3, Monza SP2, Enzo 2003, LaFerrari Aperta, 812 Competizione, and the 488 GTE Club Competition. F1 engine blocks, camshafts, pistons, and brake discs—from the 2024 Formula 1 season and historic models—further anchored the exhibition, creating a bridge from past to present.
Ferrari’s Chief Design Officer, Flavio Manzoni, hosted the unveiling, bringing his architectural perspective to the collectibles series.
“While conceiving the new Collectibles series, we wanted to consider our background as designers at the Ferrari Design Center, not only in the field of design but also in architecture,” Manzoni explained. “We drew on all the experience of minimalism and the research aimed at dematerializing as much as possible every element that is not strictly necessary. The use of transparent materials and the employment of structural elements, essential in the design, gives an effect of suspension and lightness to the object, allowing it to be contemplated in the essence of its form, encouraging interaction with the user and the surrounding environment. This approach is consistent with our way of working in car design, where we tend to operate by subtraction rather than adding the superfluous, to identify and communicate, in the true Ferrari spirit, the emotion of the project.”

Ferrari Collectibles are more than just objects. They carry the history of speed and the roar of engines that raced around the world. Each piece reflects the skill and precision behind Ferrari’s engineering and the passion that drives the brand. Holding one feels like holding a part of Ferrari’s story—a tribute to its legacy of performance and design.
Ferrari collectibles was born with these emotions in mind. BORN FOR SPEED, REBORN FOR BEAUTY.
For collectors, fans, and anyone who appreciates the poetry of motion, the installation at Garage 26 was a vivid reminder: Ferrari is not just a car manufacturer. It is a commitment to the extraordinary, etched into every piston, panel, and wing that has ever touched the track.
