Returning to Gulfstream Park on January 24, 2026, the milestone edition blends elite competition with music, hospitality, and culture across a $5.7 million race day.
Marking a decade as one of the most influential events in modern horse racing, the Pegasus World Cup returns to Gulfstream Park on Saturday, January 24, 2026, celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a race-day program that reflects how far the event has come since its bold debut.
Since launching in 2017, the Pegasus World Cup has reshaped the Thoroughbred racing calendar, merging elite competition with music, fashion, dining, and hospitality in a way few sporting events have sustained over time. What began as a daring concept has grown into an international fixture—one that consistently draws top-tier horses, global fans, and cultural tastemakers to South Florida.
“The Pegasus World Cup was created to introduce a new, meaningful event to the Thoroughbred horse racing calendar. Ten years in, it is recognized as one of the most anticipated and exciting events in the sport,” said Belinda Stronach, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 1/ST. “Thank you to the horsemen and women, long-standing partners like Groot Hospitality and Palm Tree Crew, sponsors, enthusiastic fans and guests, and the South Florida community for your part in helping 1/ST reach this milestone moment.”
The 2026 edition features a total of $5.7 million in race-day purses, led by the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational (GI), the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (GI), and the $500,000 Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational (GII)—solidifying Pegasus’ position among the most prestigious race days in the sport.
Elevated Hospitality and Entertainment
For its 10th anniversary, 1/ST continues its partnership with David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality, delivering refined hospitality experiences throughout the venue. The Flamingo Room, now sold out, remains a centerpiece of the Pegasus World Cup, offering sweeping views of the track, elevated culinary programming, and curated entertainment.
Guests in the Flamingo Room and private suites will enjoy a bespoke menu from Gekkō, Komodo, Papi Steak, and Casadonna, alongside live performances by Brian Newman, Grammy-winning producer, trumpeter, and vocalist. Following the races, Empire of the Sun will deliver an exclusive, reimagined DJ and vocal set created specifically for the anniversary celebration.
Groot Hospitality and Palm Tree Crew reunite for the Pegasus Fan Zone, located in Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club. Hosted by Griffin Johnson, the space blends hospitality, culinary offerings, wagering contests, and partner activations with a Palm Tree Crew–curated entertainment lineup featuring Two Friends, Ruckus, Rae Sada, and more. The adjacent Carousel Club VIP Garden offers food by Groot Hospitality, inclusive beverages, and on-the-rail homestretch views as the horses charge toward the finish line.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Belinda and the entire 1/ST team to deliver an incredible experience at the Pegasus World Cup this year,” said Myles Shear, Co-Founder of Palm Tree Crew.
Beyond the Track
The celebration continues after the final race at LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach, which hosts the official Pegasus World Cup after-party headlined by Frank Walker and ARTY.
“Groot Hospitality has been proud to support the Pegasus World Cup from day one, and celebrating its ten-year milestone is special,” said David Grutman, Founder of Groot Hospitality. “This year, we’re bringing our best in dining and entertainment to every part of the experience—from race day to the official after-party.”
Partners, Trophies, and Race-Day Experience
The 2026 Pegasus World Cup is supported by a roster of premier partners delivering on-site activations throughout the venue. Anheuser-Busch begins a new three-year partnership with a Stella Artois–branded Airstream bar, while NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer activates across the Carousel Club and trackside apron. Don Julio Tequila anchors the event’s signature cocktail, the Pegasus Paloma, while also spotlighting Don Julio 70® Cristalino. Additional partners include Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniel’s, CELSIUS®, Champagne Pommery, Pepsi, and Visit Lauderdale.
Baccarat returns as the Official Trophy Purveyor, presenting its iconic crystal Pegase Horses, crafted in France. The limited-production Black Pegase, valued at $57,000, will be awarded to the Pegasus World Cup Invitational winner, while the Clear Pegase, valued at $50,000, will honor the Turf Invitational champion.
Tickets, Wagering, and Broadcast
Tickets range from $135 to $2,300, with options spanning Clubhouse seating, the Pegasus Fan Zone, Carousel Club VIP Garden, and private suites. General admission experiences include the Casadonna Finish Line Terrace, offering access to key trackside areas and a sponsored open bar for guests 21+.
The event will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. EST, with full-day coverage on FanDuel TV and global distribution via HBA Media. On-site wagering is supported by 1/ST BET, featuring AI-powered tools designed for both first-time bettors and seasoned handicappers.
