Unveiled during Art Week Miami, the presentation honors Jeanne Toussaint’s enduring creative influence.
On December 4, 2025, Cartier introduced Into the Wild to the Miami Design District with a refined encounter dedicated to the Maison’s emblematic panther. The presentation highlights more than a century of creative evolution, beginning with the panther’s earliest appearance in 1914 on a watch adorned with onyx and diamond motifs. The symbol later found its full expression through Jeanne Toussaint, the influential tastemaker whom Louis Cartier appointed Creative Director in 1933.
Toussaint’s distinct point of view shaped Cartier’s identity for decades, and her vision continues to define the Panthère de Cartier universe. Into the Wild reflects that legacy with a guided experience unfolding across five thoughtfully designed spaces, each revealing a chapter in the panther’s story.
A curated selection of pieces from the Cartier Collection is displayed alongside contemporary creations, offering a clear view of the Maison’s craftsmanship across eras. The presentation is enhanced by cinematic storytelling and a bespoke art installation, which together bring depth and clarity to the narrative without overwhelming the senses.
Unveiled during Art Week Miami, the experience felt perfectly timed. Amid a week where creativity takes center stage across the city, Cartier’s presentation stood out for its quiet elegance and its ability to honor heritage while presenting a modern perspective.
