The 2026 Miami Open presented by Itaú, taking place March 15–29 at Hard Rock Stadium, has revealed its highly anticipated singles entry lists, promising two weeks of world-class tennis and thrilling matchups for fans. The field features players from 34 countries, including eight past Miami Open champions, 16 Major winners, 17 titleholders from this season, and seven former world No. 1s.

Among the top contenders are the top two players from each tour: ATP No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, 2022 champion, and No. 2 Jannik Sinner, 2024 winner. On the women’s side, WTA No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka returns to defend her crown, joined by No. 2 Iga Swiatek, 2022 champion. Alcaraz made history at just 18 years old when he captured the title, while last year’s runner-up, 19-year-old Jakub Mensik, defeated six-time Miami Open winner Novak Djokovic to become the second-youngest men’s champion in tournament history. At 38, Djokovic will be the oldest player in the men’s field, while Brazilian teen Joao Fonseca (19) is the youngest. The WTA entries also feature several teenagers, including 18-year-olds Mirra Andreeva, Iva Jovic, and Tereza Valentova, along with 19-year-olds Victoria Mboko and Maya Joint.

American players are well represented, with 27 U.S. competitors among more than 150 initial entries. Top-ranked Americans include Coco Gauff (No. 4 WTA), Jessica Pegula (No. 5 WTA), Amanda Anisimova (No. 6 WTA), Taylor Fritz (No. 8 ATP), and Ben Shelton (No. 9 ATP).

Tournament action begins with qualifying rounds from Sunday, March 15, through Tuesday, March 17, followed by the main draw starting Tuesday, March 17. For the first time, a Stadium Court night session will close out Women’s Empowerment Day, adding a new level of excitement for fans. The event culminates with the women’s singles championship on Saturday, March 28, and the men’s singles final on Sunday, March 29.
