Craig Robins Welcomes Miami Art World to Walking on Air at Miami Design District During Art Week

An intimate reception offered a first look at works spanning decades, from Tuttle’s early constructions to recent acquisitions by rising and established artists.

Craig Robins, CEO and President of Dacra, opened the doors to Miami Art Week in style, hosting the unveiling of Walking on Air, the latest rehang of his celebrated private collection. Last night, the Buick Building in the heart of the Miami Design District became a hub for art, design, and culture as luminaries from around the world gathered to experience one of Miami’s most significant collections in a completely new light.

The evening highlighted Richard Tuttle, the artist most prominently represented in the collection, whose work spanning from the mid-1960s to the present explores subtle materiality, suspension, and the playful negotiation between gravity and grace. Tuttle’s pieces were presented alongside works by David Hammons, John Baldessari, Marcel Duchamp, and emerging contemporary voices including Jana Euler, Sasha Gordon, and Xinyi Cheng, creating a dialogue between historical and modern perspectives.

Guests enjoyed a fluid, immersive experience across two floors of the Buick Building, with curated art moments, thoughtful hospitality, and music setting the tone. The evening concluded with an intimate dinner curated by WE ARE ONA and supported by BVLGARI, a celebration of art, conversation, and connection that set the stage for Miami Art Week’s season ahead.

Notable attendees included Craig Robins, Adriana Cisneros, Amber Ridinger, Andre Branch, Andres Fanjul, Bippy Siegal, Carlos De La Cruz, Chris and Brooke Stamp, Dasha Zhukova, Daniella Levine Cava, David Adjaye, Ermenegildo Zegna, Herve Perrot, Jackie Soffer, Jeffrey Deitch, Karolina Kurková, Mario Ayala, Michael Burke, Princess Firyal Jordan, Richard and Lisa Bressler, and Robbie Williams.
