The 2025 World Championship, presented by PIF, wraps in Miami with a dominant weekend performance.
The long-awaited debut of electric racing in the United States landed in Miami on November 7 and 8, and the E1 Miami GP delivered the kind of finale any championship could hope for. With Biscayne Bay as its backdrop and the 2025 UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF, the weekend unfolded with tight racing, celebrity sightings, and a finish that came down to the final lap.
After a nine-race season across four continents, Team Brady, piloted by Sam Coleman and Emma Kimiläinen, closed out the year with a commanding performance. The pair secured the 2025 World Championship with a decisive win over Team Rafa, finishing the final race fifteen seconds ahead of Tom Chiappe. The title fight stayed alive until the very last lap, making Miami the perfect city for this conclusion.
Tom Brady summed up the moment perfectly:
“I couldn’t be prouder of Team Brady for bringing home two straight E1 World Championships… We’ve proven what’s possible when you chase greatness with everything you’ve got and trust me, we’re only getting started. Let’s go!”
Only a few points separated the top teams heading into the Miami finale. Team Brady, Team Rafa, Team Blue Rising, and Aoki Racing all arrived with a realistic chance of taking the Championship. Rafael Nadal’s Team Rafa narrowed the gap during qualifying, raising the pressure going into the weekend. Cris Lazarraga delivered a determined drive for Rafa, recovering time with a smart short lap strategy, but Coleman stayed in command and Kimiläinen finished with a composed, near-perfect run.
“I’m so proud of the team… Sam, you crushed it. Absolutely crushed it,” Kimiläinen said after stepping out of her RaceBird. Coleman added, “Every time we’ve gone on the water we’ve learned something and we get better.” Their consistency paid off as Team Brady went unbeaten throughout Miami, securing their second consecutive Championship.

Miami didn’t just host the race, it embraced it. Crowds lined Biscayne Bay, while dockside appearances from Will Smith, Marc Anthony, and Tom Chiappe added an unmistakably Miami touch, blending sport, star power, and spectacle.
