The track launches as part of FIFA’s official 2026 music rollout and supports the Global Citizen Education Fund, aimed at expanding access to education and football programs worldwide.
Shakira and Burna Boy have released “Dai Dai,” the official song for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, now available on all major streaming platforms via Sony Music Latin.
The track brings together the Colombian and Nigerian artists in a global collaboration designed to reflect the cultural reach and energy surrounding the upcoming tournament. Positioned as part of FIFA’s expanding official music program, the release continues a series of singles building toward the 2026 event.
“Dai Dai” is also tied to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million by the end of the tournament to expand access to education and football opportunities for children worldwide. Proceeds from Shakira’s royalties will be donated to the fund, while Sony Music will match up to $250,000 in contributions.
Shakira is also set to co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final Halftime Show on July 19, marking the first time a FIFA World Cup Final will feature an official halftime performance. The show will bring together international artists in a global broadcast moment combining music, sport, and philanthropy.
The release follows earlier singles from the official World Cup soundtrack, including Lighter, Por Ella, Echo, and Illuminate. Additional tracks are expected in the coming weeks as the project continues to expand ahead of the tournament. The official soundtrack features artists from multiple regions and genres, reflecting FIFA’s effort to highlight global diversity through music as anticipation builds for the 2026 World Cup across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
